(Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Clinical Director
Candice completed her graduate studies in social work at The University of Utah in 2011. She has worked in community mental health, as well as the private sector, and has 20 years of experience working in residential, day treatment and intensive outpatient programs for mental health and substance use.
She believes healing happens through honesty, connection, and a willingness to take accountability for one’s life. Her approach is collaborative and down-to-earth — using humor, compassion, and directness to help clients feel both supported and challenged as they grow.
She specializes in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, using DBT, EMDR, CBT, and somatic therapy to support each person where they are. She has training and experience in Reiki, breath work, and sound healing.
Spirituality plays an important role in her work, and she believes integrity and self-awareness are essential to the therapeutic process. As someone who is also in therapy and in recovery, she understands firsthand the courage it takes to show up for yourself and make changes. She sees therapy as a space where you can be fully seen — a place to explore pain, discover what matters most, and connect with the beautiful parts of being a human.
While there are many things Candice loves about being a human, she really loves being a wife and a mom, traveling to new places, spending time in nature, yin yoga, deep breaths and tan iced mochas from Beans & Brews.
