Jake Shoff, Founder of The Phoenix Recovery Center. In Loving Memory
Our Founder

Jake Shoff

Jake’s vision, passion, and dedication formed the very core of The Phoenix Recovery Center. He was an incredible leader, mentor, and an inspiration to everyone! He embodied an unwavering commitment to serving those who desperately need drug rehabilitation and mental health therapy. His wonderful wife, Emily, has been an integral partner and co-founder with Jake in building The Phoenix over the past 13 years. For example, Emily encouraged Jake to move the business to the Salt Lake Valley and inspired the iconic “Phoenix” name and logo.
While we all grieve this immense loss, we also celebrate the extraordinary legacy he leaves behind. He poured his heart and soul into this cause, and his entrepreneurial spirit grew The Phoenix into what it is today. He deeply believed in our mission to “empower individuals and families suffering from addiction and mental health disorders, to celebrate life through lasting solutions.”
Emily and their sons are committed to honoring Jake’s memory by continuing his work and carrying his vision forward. The experienced Phoenix leadership team that Jake assembled has been working tirelessly to provide world-class care to those who suffer. Together, they will maintain the high standards Jake set. We will foster the culture of love and support he championed and ensure The Phoenix Recovery Center continues to ”Rise Above” and make a positive impact in the lives of everyone who suffers. We are united in our dedication to the future.
