The first step in returning to a meaningful life after addiction is finding a rehabilitation center. For individuals with severe addiction, an inpatient drug rehab program is typically the best treatment option. However, for those who are determined to be in the early stages of substance abuse or have a mild addiction to the point of not requiring a higher level of care, the Intensive Outpatient Drug Rehab Program may best meet the patient’s needs.
Intensive Outpatient Drug Treatment (IOP)
What is Outpatient Treatment?
Unlike an inpatient rehab program, those within the outpatient program will be able to continue their day to day life while still receiving treatment. Individuals will be able to visit with family or other members of their support system, continue working, return home every night while still working on the steps necessary to maintain their sobriety.
There are two types of outpatient treatment offered at The Phoenix – Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and General Outpatient. Those involved in IOP will meet for counseling sessions, group therapy, relapse prevention and support groups a predetermined number of times per week. As the individual meets clinical objectives and builds upon their recovery capital to strengthen their meaningful pursuits, they may step down to a lower level of our addiction recovery services, typically General Outpatient Programs.
How Does The Phoenix’s Intensive Outpatient Drug Treatment Program Work?
The Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Drug Rehab Program offers a customizable schedule Monday through Friday. Sober and therapeutic experiences continue to support the recovering person to gain insight into their disease management as well as life pursuits and the corresponding stresses and coping skills required to be successful. At our outpatient drug treatment center, patients will continue to experience the tailored blend of pharmacological (medication) interventions & assistance, experiential experiences, therapeutic education, and process groups combined with individual therapy providing the recovery support to assist the recovering person to manage their recovery and engage in life pursuits.
As the person in recovery continues to build upon their recovery capital, recovery support derived from formal treatment decreases as they develop greater recovery and life skills. The developmental process of recovery is reflected in the recovering person building upon their social affiliations and community-based recovery support. Additionally, the recovery person demonstrates they have identified and are actively pursuing life’s meanings in career, education, familial relationships, and personal interest that they find meaningful.
How Much Does Treatment Cost?
One of the biggest benefits of outpatient treatment is it’s affordability since you aren’t paying the costs of lodging at an inpatient facility. The price you pay for outpatient drug rehab will vary depending on your insurance coverage and out-of-pocket responsibilities. Our facility is considered in-network for a number of insurance providers, but we also work with many other providers to make treatment accessible. The price of treatment should never be a reason to not seek treatment, and we will gladly find a solution to make rehab a possibility. The Phoenix Difference
Perhaps the most profound aspect of the Phoenix Difference is our approach. While we are extremely deliberate in educating and supporting the client in disease management and better equipping them with the skills of developing a stable recovery capital experience, our focus distinguishes us as unique. Our focus is centered upon the spiritual meaning-making, seeking, and fulfillment aspects of the human experience. Critical to health, wellness, and thriving in the human condition is the process of having the “inner ear,” the capacity to discover what one believes in themselves and life, to draw upon gifts, strengths and support systems to pursue those goal-directed meaning pursuits. To this end, our treatment is extremely individualized, with treatment objectives being largely defined by those awakenings and pursuits that exist within each client.
