Nicholaus Moore graduated with his master’s in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. A retired Army medic and trauma-informed therapist, he brings both grit and compassion to his work. Nick has experience across substance use, trauma, and mental health treatment in residential and outpatient settings.
He believes healing happens through connection and community, self-trust, and radical honesty. His direct approach blends humor, authenticity, and accountability, helping clients reconnect with themselves and move from survival into meaning. Nick integrates DBT, logotherapy, and mindfulness practices, along with somatic and narrative techniques to help clients understand their story and reclaim their power.
His work is grounded in the idea that spirituality is not about religion, but about returning to one’s true self — the place beneath the noise where peace and purpose live.
Outside the therapy room, Nick loves cooking (especially sourdough and cast-iron experiments), time in nature with his wife and dogs, and finding joy in the small, simple moments that remind him of the magic it is being human.
